Pros
- High focus on listings near Orchard
- Artsy and well-decorated heritage rooms
- Highly accessible locations
- Weekly maintenance and housekeeping
- Fully furnished listings
Cons
- Could improve on security measures
- Affordable listings have no private bathrooms
Eye-catching interiors and inviting spaces are what makes Figment an excellent site for short-term rentals in Singapore.
Boasting artsy spaces tucked within vibrant communities, Figment welcomes potential boarders who have a thirst for adventure and fuss-free living.
One of our favourite features of Figment is that most, if not all, of its listings, are conveniently located within Orchard, one of Singapore’s busiest districts.
When we say busy, we mean that almost everything you could possibly need for a short-term rental in Singapore is within reach.
That said, if you favour quiet spaces located far away from bustling urban life, Figment’s listing may not be your cup of tea.
However, there are still a bunch of redeemable qualities about living in these vibrant spaces.
Figment’s signature is its well-decorated heritage homes. In fact, boarders who book their short-term rentals in Singapore with Figment enjoy access to its members-only creative home space.
Events and parties are held a few times each month, making socialising easy once you step foot into the city.
Figment also offers weekly maintenance and housekeeping to its tenants. Laundry areas are also available for tenant use.
While we appreciate the lively environment within these listings, we did notice a setback with Figment’s security measures.
Since communities often gather in these areas for socialising, we think Figment could put in place stricter security rules and regulations to keep tenants safe from damages or incidents.
We also noticed that many of the affordable listings on Figment don’t provide en suite bathrooms. This could be a hassle for many potential tenants who wish to have more privacy in their quarters.
Despite that, if you’re looking to spend a few weeks or months exploring what Singapore has to offer, Figment is a great place to start.

Pros
- Offers daily bus shuttle
- 24-hour security detail
- Exclusive residence building
- Free parking
- Eco-friendly community
Cons
- Expensive rates
- Strict entry point
- Not pet-friendly
If you love nature and want to book a short-term rental in Singapore that openly promotes eco-friendly living, Treetops Executive Residences may be your best option.
Nestled within lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens, Treetops is an excellent choice for tenants who want access to fresh outdoors within the bustling city.
Treetops Executive Residences offers its services under eco-friendly ethics. Staff only use organic materials and products and practice regular recycling.
That said, all of the rooms prohibit smoking. If you’re particular about smoking areas during your stay, Treetops may not be the best option for you.
If you’re a food lover, you’ll definitely enjoy Treetop’s healthy food selection from its in-house cafe. You can also use the jogging track to burn off the calories later on.
The community is exclusive, and each tenant enjoys 24-hour security and resort-style living that protect your privacy during your stay.
Just note that pets are not allowed within the vicinity. It’s quite an inconvenience for many potential clients who want to bring their furry friends along.
The community is also quite strict about who goes in and out of the premises. Unless you’re a tenant, guest numbers are heavily monitored and limited.
This may pose problems if you want to bring friends over. While the security is appreciated, we think they could tone down on letting authorised guests enter.
Each tenant also gets one slot of free parking. If you prefer to use public transportation, Treetops offers a free daily shuttle that can take you to designated areas within the city.
Due to its exclusivity and access to private gardens, Treetops is highly suitable for big families and international tourists.

Pros
- In-house swimming pool
- Fully equipped gym
- Free parking
- Provides en suite bathrooms
- Convenient location
Cons
- Not suitable for big families
- Not pet-friendly
Fortville Serviced Apartments is another great option for short-term rentals in Singapore. With full access to a gym and swimming pool, tenants enjoy excellent amenities during their stay.
What we like best about Fortville is that each room comes with thrice-per-week housekeeping.
Tenants staying longer may find regular housekeeping a great perk, as they don’t have to worry about cleaning duties.
Another great feature of Fortville is its free parking. Each tenant gets one slot for free.
If you prefer to commute, the apartment is located within walking distance of an MRT station.
Each of the rooms also has en suite bathrooms, keeping privacy to a maximum. With wonderful amenities and spacious rooms, Fortville is an excellent short-term rental in Singapore for tourists.
When it comes to the rates, Fortville charges its tenants on a per-night basis. For longer stays, the rates may seem expensive.
If tenants book accommodation for more than 30 days, the full payment is made upfront upon checking in. An extra $2,500 is required as a refundable security deposit.
For what Fortville offers, the overall pricing is pretty expensive, but we think that it’s worth the cost.
Just note that the rooms are not pet-friendly and not as family-friendly as we’d like. If child guests are above the age of seven, extra charges may incur since children are considered guests.
Fortville may not be the most practical option if you’re a big family. However, if you don’t mind paying a premium for the amenities, housekeeping, and convenient location, Fortville is still worth the money.
5. MetroResidences

Amenities | 4/5 |

Pros
- Dedicated front desk support
- Customisable and flexible lease contract
- Reasonably priced listings
- Fully furnished rooms
Cons
- Closed on weekends
- 24-hour services are exclusive to MetroPremier tenants
MetroResidences is a trusted hub for short-term rentals in Singapore. Many past tenants have widely lauded the site’s reasonably priced listings.
Each listing is ranked based on its quality of furniture, appliances, location, and upkeep. The more exclusive the location and accommodation, the more expensive the rates will be.
While the classification makes searching for short-term rentals in Singapore easier, we noticed vast deviations and inconsistencies with the listings.
For example, cheaper listings don’t get 24-hour front desk support. Only tenants who book upscale rentals get the privilege.
The privilege also extends to how often housekeeping and maintenance staff clean your rentals. We think that even the most reasonably priced rentals deserve better features.
Aside from that, reservations are only open from Monday to Friday. Potential tenants looking for accommodations at unlikely hours or on the weekend may have to wait until operating hours.
For short-term rentals, MetroResidences follows a quick and easy payment system where fees may be paid through credit card or bank transfer.
If you pay with a credit card, the monthly fees will be deducted automatically. Lease contract terms are customisable and negotiable, making MetroResidences listings highly suitable for expats and tourists.
Overall, MetroResidences is a solid choice for short-term rentals in Singapore. We commend its flexible contract terms and customisable accommodation packages.

Pros
- Excellent amenities
- Multilingual staff
- Highly suitable for seasoned travellers
Cons
- No extra bed
- Expensive rates
- No free shuttle service
Seasoned travellers with a knack for coliving short-term rentals in Singapore will find Lyf Funan one of the best accommodations.
Lyf Funan offers a wide scope of listings from studio units to penthouse suites. Each rental is spacious and fully furnished with high-quality furniture and appliances.
If you’re thinking about bringing your family along, Lyf Funan has spacious rooms to fit at least a family of six.
The apartment complex is conveniently located a stone’s throw away from City Hall MRT station. You can walk over to Funan Mall or take a short trip down several heritage spots in the area.
This is what makes Lyf Funan a great option for seasoned travellers. It’s easy to get around points of interest and entertainment attractions!
However, if you’re travelling in large groups and want to get settled in straight from the airport, Lyf Funan currently doesn’t offer airport shuttle services.
This means that you’ll have to either take a taxi or commute on your way to the building. Other places offer free shuttle services, and we think Lyf Funan could join the bandwagon.
If you encounter specific concerns during your stay, you won’t have to worry about language barriers. The staff at Lyf Funan are multilingual and can converse with tenants in English, Chinese, or Malay.
There are also excellent amenities within the building. There’s a social kitchen and pantry where tenants can socialise and dine with other residents.
If you’re a fitness buff and constantly need to break a sweat, there’s a full-sized gym in the building. Quiet coworking spaces are available for tenants to use if they need a dose of productivity.
There’s quite a lot you can do to either pass the time or spend the day indoors at Lyf Funan. Short-term rentals in Singapore are made more fun and exciting here.
Just note that if you decide to rent the smaller units, Lyf Funan doesn’t offer extra beds. You can only bring the guests up to the maximum capacity of each room.
It may also cost you a lot more if you decide to book a bigger room with a maximum capacity that’s larger than what you need.
With that, bringing along your friends to stay at Lyf Funan is relatively expensive compared to other short-term rentals in Singapore.
If you don’t mind paying more, we think Lyf Funan is a solid option to consider. The amenities alone are impressive enough to test out for a day or two!
